Today is Youth Mental Health Day!

What is Youth Mental Health Day?

Break the stigma around Mental Health! It is OK not to be OK, today is a day to encourage discussion and better the understanding of mental health in young people.

What is Mental Health?

Mental health is a collection of our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. Depending on what is going on around us can affect how we are feeling , thinking and acting in our every day lives which can influence how we make choices whether these are healthy or unhealthy choices.

“1 in 6 children aged 5 to 16 were identified as having a probable mental health problem in July 2021. That’s five children in every classroom.” – youngminds
