Breasts

Breasts come in different shapes and sizes. Everybody is different; some people have big breasts, some medium, and some small. Most people have one breast that is slightly bigger than the other. Breasts develop at different rates and your breasts are constantly changing. Your breasts will keep developing until you are around 19 years old.

It is important to get to know your own breasts, and what they look like as they can feel different at certain times of the month.

Nipples can also vary in appearance-they may be dark, pale, big or small.

Breast cancer is very uncommon in young women, but if you familiarise yourself with your own breasts and get into the habit of examining your breasts regularly it will help you notice any changes.
