Stay Safe

Many of us may be returning to school, college university or work –meeting friends, new people-possibly starting new relationships. If you are in a relationship or single –sex should always be consensual but with COVID 19  we need to think about protecting ourselves from the Virus .

COVID 19 is not a sexually transmitted infection, however it can be passed on through kissing, close contact and having sex. If you or a partner have COVID 19 symptoms you should not kiss or have sex.

Remember we should still be socially distancing but if you are having sex with someone you don’t live with its important to limit the number of partners.

Lockdown has meant most people have had fewer sexual partners but it’s important to think about safer sex and remember sexual health services are still available to provide support –  https://www.thenorthernsexualhealth.co.uk/
